Antifa really proved the allegations false here, eh?

On May 20, news outlet OPB reported that Battle Ground leadership (what a phrase!) was considering a public proclamation to condemn Antifa in line with their federal designation as a terror group.

One draft proclamation set to be presented at an upcoming Battle Ground city council meeting condemns 'Antifa-associated violence,' which describes it as 'threats to public safety, civil order, and constitutional governance.'

The council was also preparing a proclamation in support of ICE and deportations. Several weeks prior to this, on May 7, the council passed another proclamation to make May 7 a day of prayer.

Libs, who have spent the last few decades imposing their political and religious worldview on Battle Ground and other Pacific Northwest towns, have warned that expressing opposing political and religious worldviews is dangerous.

Battle Ground Mayor Eric Overholser also rejected requests for him to talk about "sexual orientation" and Pride month during an upcoming unity speech on June 15.

Battle Ground resident Jessica Cole helped draft past Pride proclamations. This year, she proposed proclamations about Pride month and a transgender day of visibility. Both were declined for 2026, she said, but she wasn't given a specific reason why.

She then proposed another, more general proclamation to promote unity and belonging. It described the diversity of Battle Ground's community, including 'sexual orientations' and 'gender identities,' and stated that unity does not require all people to 'love the same.'

The mayor sent it back with those phrases removed.

This is the proper response to the woke cult.

They want you to remove religious language and holidays associated with your God, but they want religious language and holy days of "transgender visibility" in honor of their gods.

You win nothing by negotiating with them.
