This reads like the darkest of satire:
As we reported yesterday, a female officer appears to have shot a civilian who spooked her while she was taking cover during an active shooting.
That man has been named as a Jewish rabbi named Michael Moshe Mizrahi, part of the Chabad movement. Canadian outlet La Presse reports that the female cop did indeed shoot him:
Michael Mizrahi, a 68-year-old trader, finds himself in the line of fire as he goes to buy a drink near his clothing store on Devonshire Road. In the same video, we see the man appear behind the policewoman, arriving from the side from which the suspect is shooting. In the chaos, the agent shoots the sixty-year-old dead ... Sources close to the investigation confirmed to us that it was indeed the patrolwoman who fired.
What we didn't know at the time is that the shooting took place outside the corporate offices of Pornhub's parent company, Aylo (formerly MindGeek), which owns the largest porn sites on the internet.
The shooter, an Alberta man named Seth Hatfield, reportedly fired into the Aylo building from his hotel across the street, as confirmed by La Presse.
He then made his way down onto the street where he appeared to ignore civilians but engaged officers in a firefight right outside the Aylo building.
These are a few quotes from the Hatfield's manifesto, as obtained by Rebel News:
The influence of Zionist Jews upon the western bourgeoisie is in fact so strong that in my other works I sometimes refer to the western ruling class itself as the Judaeo-bourgeois class
...
The visiting of pornographic websites contributes greatly to bourgeois wealth, and the industry as a whole is one of our most repulsive and malignant enemies.
On page 86 of his manifesto (these psychos are always long-winded), he specifically lists viable targets for political violence.
These include equity firms, brokerages, elite bankers, politicians (both liberal and conservative), CEOs of energy companies, "alpha male swindlers" like Andrew Tate, those facilitating mass migration, plastic surgeons, and, you guessed it, "the headquarters of international pornography companies."
He also talks about the "filthy facets of the capitalist economy," the "liquidation" of the elite "Class A" through violent revolution, and striking fear into the "western bourgeois class."
(If this doesn't sound like a conservative Christian perspective, then you'd be right.)
The guy references "Robespierre, Saint-Just, Marx, and Lenin" as heroes, and quotes The Communist Manifesto directly:
During his rampage on Pornhub's office, Hatfield shot and killed a police officer.
There is no humor in that, but there is a dark and morbid irony that in Montreal, he shot a random officer and that officer happened to be named Mohamed.
The 34-year-old had been with the force since 2021 and was originally from Algeria, according to Canadian outlet TVA Nouvelles and a website for the Algerian diaspora.
Noticing the multiple levels of irony here does not downplay the tragedy.
These events are horrific, but we live in a day and age where everything is the darkest shade of a Babylon Bee joke.
(You do see how this whole story reads like a Babylon Bee joke, right?)
Adding to this grotesque parody (that's somehow real) is the fact that the media will simply describe the shooter as an "incel" or a "Nazi" or a "white supremacist."
They won't admit the fact that he was RABIDLY left wing - a true devotee of Marx, Lenin, and other communist figures that caused untold levels of human suffering over the last century.
On the other side, online conspiracists will focus on the supposed connection to the JEEEEEWS or downplay the fact that the shooter was a deranged lunatic because he had a few good points about the problems in Western Civilization.
Few people will actually look at the reality: That this chaos of intersecting punchlines is a reminder of how our culture has gone off the rails because it forgot God.
Nowhere in his manifesto did Hatfield acknowledge God. Nowhere did he admit that the brokenness from our society is not a result of class warfare, but of human sin. Nowhere did he express a need for repentance and humble hearts.
Will you allow me to end this article with an opinionated observation? 👇
If this lunatic had understood the hope, love, and grace found in Jesus Christ, or understood that vengeance belongs to God, he wouldn't have gone on a communism-fueled shooting spree.
But likewise, if our governments and cultures hadn't abandoned God, we wouldn't have mass migration, intersectional feminism, or international pornography companies.
The phrase "Christ or chaos" comes to mind.
