They warn that immigrants, racial minorities, and 'LBGTQ+ [sic] individuals have been and continue to be disproportionately targeted and affected by the administration's policies and, as such, are most vulnerable to serious harm when traveling to and/or within the United States.'
The LGBTQ crowd is afraid to travel to the U.S. for the World Cup?
Good for the San Francisco Chronicle, the proud, upstanding newspaper, for championing the cause of equality in the face of bigotry!
There's just one problem: The last World Cup was held in Qatar, where they don't exactly take kindly to the gay folk. And the paper didn't seem all that concerned about it then. In fact, they were applauding it.
