The tornado that hit just south of Green Bay on Monday was nearly a mile wide and left a swath of destruction in its path.

Several people were injured, but thankfully, no one died. 400,000 homes and businesses were without power on Monday, but as of Wednesday, that number was down to 13,000.

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers signed an executive order on Tuesday to move emergency assets into the area.

Authorities have warned people not to travel to Menasha, a community on the south side of Appleton, until road crews and emergency responders have cleared debris and electrical wires from the roads.
