Summertime fun has no expiration date, and the AdamsPlace assisted living facility in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, does its best to prove that with its annual Ride 'N Slide event for residents.

During the event, a giant Slip 'N Slide is set up for residents to use, with the help of the local firefighters to assist them on and off the pool float, and players from the Middle Tennessee State University football team to pull them down the slide.

Local middle school cheerleaders were also there to lead the crowd in cheering for the seniors, some of whom are dementia or Alzheimer's patients, as they came down the Slip 'N Slide.
The entire event is a highlight for the local community, and seeing the elderly residents be able to play like kids again is just the best!
