Bite of Seattle is a large food festival that is just blocks from the Space Needle and other major tourist attractions.
A few balloonheads decided they wanted to have a gunfight there on Sunday evening.

The term "mass shooting" gets used for everything these days, so to clarify: This was not a gunman who targeted bystanders on purpose.
These were gangbangers who tried to shoot each other and repeatedly missed (AKA shot innocent people around them instead).
The perps killed three people in the crossfire and injured four more, including a 2-year-old.

One gunman surrendered after being confronted by police, while another shooter was being sought after they fled Seattle Center, which was hosting the Bite of Seattle event, Assistant Seattle Police Chief Tyrone Davis said at a late-night news conference.
"There were two people who we believe were shooting at each other," Davis said.
Seven people had been shot at the civic center complex, which is also home to the city's Space Needle.
The three victims who died were a 19-year-old man, a 44-year-old man, and a 56-year-old woman, police said in a statement early Monday morning. Two individuals died at the scene and a third died at the hospital.
King 5 Seattle notes that there are more than 100,000 visitors to the food festival daily.
The police are still searching for more potential suspects, but they might have trouble identifying who they are or how many there are.
Why?
Because there were no security cameras.
