An actual thing that is happening in Tampon Tim Walz's Minnesota.

MyGenderDolls, the "first-of-their-kind" therapeutic paper dolls complete with removable internal and external genitalia, and over 100 interchangeable outfits, hairstyles, and accessories.

It's like Mr. Potato Head decided to transition and applied for a government grant.

From Fox News:

The MyGenderDolls, which were developed in part through the University of Minnesota's Early Innovation Fund, will be for use by 'clinicians and educators' starting this year, the New York Post first reported, citing the product's website.

The dolls, according to the website, were 'designed for gender diverse children ages 4 - 10.'

Children ages 4-10!

According to the University of Minnesota (UM), these dolls help kids "realize all the different options that exist for who they can be, regardless of their body parts."

(Because that's really what preschoolers need to be learning about.)

The dolls, with delightfully androgynous names like Sam, Rory, Avery, and Parker, are rolling out this fall to clinicians and educators.

The doll project was funded in part through UM's Early Innovation Fund and ties into broader state-backed efforts under Walz, who was previously honored with the "Distinguished Sexual and Gender Health Champion Award" by the very same institute.
