No one was hurt, so enjoy the fireworks:
More info from WSMV Nashville:
Multiple fire departments responded to the interstate just past the Ooltewah exit, shuttling water to the scene.
Images from the Chattanooga Fire Department showed a charred trailer connected to a white pickup.
It took until 11 p.m. to clean up the wreckage and debris and get the northbound side of the highway totally open again. No word on why the trailer suddenly caught fire.
It seems like half the city turned out to watch the show!
Next time you transport fireworks, make sure there's absolutely no way those suckers can catch a spark, or else you'll be giving a free show to a highway full of spectators!
