This is truly a remarkable interview with fired 60 Minutes anchor Scott Pelley.
It shows us just how delusional the modern news media and its personalities are.
Former NYT columnist Bari Weiss took over CBS News in 2025 with the goal of making it less biased. At one point, she specifically asked staff why the American public believes the outlet to heavily favor leftwing perspectives.
Pelley was horrified at that suggestion.
Why do you think so? Do you have a poll? Is there market research? What are you talking about? Because we certainly didn't believe that.
You don't think that people watching the news think you're biased, Scott? They don't think 60 Minutes is biased? You really think you're coming off as neutral every week?
Reminder: Last year, CBS settled a lawsuit for a heavily edited 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris in 2024.
The FCC requires outlets that use public airwaves (CBS, ABC, FOX, NBC) to provide equal air time to candidates. There are specific rules they must follow to ensure their coverage remains unbiased. The FCC forced CBS to release the unedited version of the Kamala interview, which showed how the staff at 60 Minutes had edited it to make Kamala's less coherent answers sound better.

And the worst part is that he's learned zero lessons. He's not humbled. He's only emboldened because he thinks he's a martyr.
He's literally crying, y'all. He's crying because he thinks he's like a veteran who fought for his country because he worked for 60 Minutes.
