Update: British officials are now reporting that the migrant is Sudanese, not Somali.

I will, however, show you this brief clip of an Irishman whacking the Somali upside the head to get him off the victim.

The hero that walloped the perp is local man Maitiu Mag Tighearnan, according to this Facebook post:
Surprisingly, the Police Service of Northern Ireland was quick to admit that the suspect is Somali. Normally, the police and media would report the suspect as a "Belfast man" in a situation like this!
The victim not only had his throat cut, but according to reports, had at least one of his eyes gouged out by the Somali man.
Here's one witness testimony from the BBC, which also reported that the man is "believed to be Somali":
A resident told BBC News NI how she was in her home when her partner heard screaming outside.
She said others, including children, had begun to gather in the street and described how some people tried to intervene.
The woman said she had 'never seen anything like it.'
That's because you've never lived in Mogadishu. Until now, that is.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer was also quick to issue a statement, perhaps because he's been raked over the coals the past month for remaining silent about the racially motivated murder of Henry Nowak.
According to several large social media accounts, a massive public protest is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. Locals are encouraging businesses and roads to close as part of that protest.
