Over six weeks ago, there was a debate held in the historic Oxford Union about Islam. The video seems to have been withheld so it could be cut up to make the debater and student leader, Aisha Khan Aziz, look more favorable.

Her opponents included Laurence Fox, Stephen Yaxley (known by his pseudonym Tommy Robinson), and Jonathan Sacerdoti.

A demonstration of the fear that Islam instills in people came when Fox pretended he was going to unveil a portrait of Mohammed - something that makes jihadis very upset.

A few comments:

Islamic "salaam" is not the same as Hebrew "shalom."

Both words mean "peace," but in VERY different ways.

When the God of the Bible says "peace," He means the restoration of all things, the outpouring of love that a Father has for His children, and justice for the oppressed.

When Allah says "peace," he means forced submission (the meaning of the words "Islam" and "Muslim"), in the same way that someone in George Orwell's 1984 has "peace" when the Thought Police finally convince them to say 2+2=5.

It's the same type of "peace" presented in Star Trek's "Borg" or Halo's "Flood" - the kind of "peace" you have when you've been assimilated into the zombie hive-mind.

Of course, the Religion of Peace™ will beat me senseless for saying such things!
