A dad in London recently walked into a massacre on his living room floor after his three-year-old daughter, Amelia, decided that a stack of $100 bills was just what her art project needed.
The 34-year-old father, Anthony Kalejaiye, had left the money out after taking out a separate pile of dollar bills for a family gathering, then left the room to change for the event, leaving his toddler happily working on her coloring book.
When he came back a few minutes later, there was only carnage. In her toddler brain, Amelia thought Benjamin Franklin's face would make the perfect unicorn head.
Kalejaiye told SWNS,
At first I just didn't know how to react. Nothing prepares you for this kind of situation! I was definitely shocked and angry, but it really just taught me to keep a closer look on where we keep the cash.

Rather than lash out in anger, the shocked dad took out his camera and filmed the aftermath, then did some research and quickly found out that all was not lost.
He went on to say,
I looked it up on Chat GPT and it turns out that if 49% of the note and the serial number are intact, they can exchange the money.
Thankfully, the money was able to be reimbursed without any trouble (though the Bureau of Engraving and Printing does have the right to chose not to reimburse someone).
Next time, keep the scissors away from the 3-year-old as well!
