The most likely action that the U.S. government will take is increased policy pressure on Spain. One specific measure might be to back Italy's announcement in the last day that it will revoke the EU's longstanding free-movement rules (the right to travel to any EU country from another EU country) in regards to Spain.
Other measures include increased intelligence operations to dismantle smuggling operations passing through Spain, putting pressure on the Moroccan government, and having Trump tweet a few things at 2 AM to scare the living daylights out of the commies.
The Spanish government has purposely taken a pro-migration stance and recently granted half a million illegals legal status, which gives them a path to citizenship and voting.
Leftists want migration because they assume it will give them power forever to save the planet from the "fascists."
