Lots of psychopaths are trying to open the emergency doors these days.
Thankfully, we've got guys like Josh Longood:

Frontier flight 3345 was 45 minutes into its flight from Puerto Rico to Chicago when 51-year-old Juan Gabriel Reyes apparently decided he wanted off the plane at 30,000 feet. Passengers say he tried to get into the cockpit, then attempted to open an emergency door.
Airline staff ushered him away from the door, but he told them he needed to use the bathroom before returning to his seat.
That's when things escalated, according to an affidavit. Reyes tried to pee all over the bathroom floor, so staff put him in a new seat and had an off-duty male flight attendant sit with him to watch him.
At one point, the flight attendant went to go use the restroom himself and Reyes grabbed the man's bag off the floor. When the flight attendant returned, he confronted Reyes.
Witnesses say Reyes then "got on top of" the flight attendant and "grabbed the victim by the head and choked him."

At this point, our hero got involved.
From ABC 7:
Josh Longood of Chicago was on the flight and helped restrain Reyes.
'He was just trying to push back and fight back and try to, like, get his arms free, but I pretty much had him completely restrained,' Longood said.
Longood can be seen in the video wearing a Jiu-Jitsu t-shirt, which is fitting, because he's an instructor.
'I knew that I could take care of it and handle it without him or anybody else getting injured,' Longood said. 'I was already ready for something to happen, so I instantly, you know, restrained him, put him in his row, laid him down, tied him up with a seatbelt,' Longood said.
The flight safely diverted to Miami, where Reyes was detained by police. He is now in the custody of the FBI.
(Good thing they didn't land in New York, or DA Alvin Bragg might have charged Longood with attempted murder!)
Reyes has been charged with interference with flight crew members and attendants and assault within maritime and territorial jurisdiction, court records show.
