They're calling this the "Coyote Condo," and I'm not entirely sure, but judging by the fact that this is West Hollywood, I'm guessing these are gay coyotes.
This 22-unit condo project on Romaine Street and North Spaulding was halted back in 2024, the permits expired, and now it's essentially a Vrbo for wild dogs.
So what's the solution? Well, they're going to make the property owner hire a wildlife control operator to remove the coyotes. The abandoned construction site will apparently remain abandoned.
Here's the City of West Hollywood via NBC 4:
'The City of West Hollywood has had a comprehensive Coyote Management and Coexistence Plan in place since 2018,' it said in a statement. 'The plan emphasizes public education, prevention, and humane coexistence strategies, including guidance on safely hazing coyotes that exhibit habituated behavior. The City's approach prioritizes non-lethal management techniques and ongoing public outreach while working closely with Los Angeles County agencies to monitor coyote activity.'
