The WNBA is a joke.
It just is, sorry. The only way it'll survive is with NBA subsidies and more political drama.
And that's why I love this idea from OutKick's Clay Travis.
Sure, he's being a bit tongue-in-cheek here, but why not try it?
He's already got his first prospect: A beautiful European woman.
I believe the answer would be the Nashville Balls, Mr. Travis.
Travis has another plan as well, this one featuring a game between the WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces and a high school state basketball championship team.
Some news anchor in Minnesota had thoughts, and they/them made me giggle.
That last line got me!
This is all, of course, in response to the Sophie Cunningham drama, which, again, is the only way this league survives: on drama.
The WNBA needs to be broadcast exclusively on TNT, because this league knows drama is their only hope.
