No joke, this lady has been convicted of "social racism" after using male pronouns while discussing trans politician Duda Salabert during a 2024 social media clip.
"Social racism," the 9th Criminal Court of Salvador calls it.

"Transphobia" and "homophobia" have been considered crimes of "social racism" since 2019 (the perfect reference year here, as this was prime-time woke era).
They found her guilty of "intentional and pejorative use of the gender opposite ... [to a] self-declared identity."

And here's what Barreto said back in 2024 via Reduxx. For context, she's talking about another case, in which this trans politician's opponent in a 2020 race, Nikolas Ferreira, called the tranny a man and was threatened with a criminal complaint.
Barreto discussed the case against Ferreira in her video in 2024, telling her audience that they 'must have already heard of Congressman Duda Salabert,' adding that 'he's a guy who says he's a trans woman, but he's married to a woman and has a son or daughter.' She continued, saying that whatever 'she does in her private life is not my problem. Now, it will always be a problem when these people try to impose things on us that are not real, that are a product of her imagination. By ‘her' I mean the person, because a man is a man, a woman is a woman, and that's it.'

The judge ruled that referring to someone by their biological sex constitutes "marginalization" and that recognizing self-declared gender identity is mandatory because it's an "inseparable element of personality rights and the dignity of the human person."
Deliberately using biological sex, the court tells us, "is not merely an exercise of opinion; it's an act that refuses to recognize her citizenship."
