An update in the world of politics and sports, for those of you interested:
If you aren't super familiar with OutKick, they have brought on some heavy-hitting commentators to address the craziness of the culture wars. Riley Gaines, Jason Whitlock, Tyrus, Tomi Lahren, and Dan Dakich are all names that have worked for OutKick.
More from The Hollywood Reporter:
'When I created OutKick in 2011, the goal was not only for the site to be smart, original, funny, and authentic, but also to become an influential digital platform in the industry,' Travis said in a statement. 'Over the past 15 years, with the help of an incredible team and the support from Fox, that goal has been accomplished. While I am stepping away from OutKick, the platform is in a tremendous position to continue building upon its success and reach an even wider audience as it takes its next step as a vertical within Fox News Digital. I'm excited about the future of OutKick and remaining part of the Fox News Media family as a contributor.'
As Travis indicates, OutKick will be fully integrated into Fox News Digital. The company bought OutKick five years ago.
Fox thinks that making OutKick part of the Digital platform will increase views (AKA money).
The company claims that May 2026 was its largest month ever in terms of unique devices and pageviews. The closest comparison may be The Athletic, which was acquired by The New York Times, but kept its own brand identity even as it became a part of the larger Times portfolio.
Travis will still be a Fox News contributor and will continue to host OutKick the Show on FS1, in addition to his main radio show, The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show (considered by many to be the successor to Rush Limbaugh's show).
Any bets on what company he starts next?
