According to CNN, Farinacci was seen kneeling at the place the Old Trails fire started on Saturday. The witness immediately called police when smoke could be seen.
The cops reportedly found Farinacci with "waterproof matches and a butane lighter."
Despite that, they let the guy go!
Responding law enforcement officers made contact with Farinacci in the area, and he was 'detained, questioned and ultimately released'
The suspect was only arrested and charged on Monday.
