Footage filmed in Xinjiang, China, on Monday (June 1) shows a crowd gathered around the humanoid machine as it carried out a series of combat moves. The robot suddenly turned and launched a high kick as part of its routine, hitting a young spectator in the stomach. The boy was not seriously injured and was unharmed following the incident.
Just a friendly reminder, folks: At least for now, treat these robots like a wild animal of sorts. Like, at least be nearby to protect them from something like this. Tech will get better, but it's not perfect.
