Y'all, I've been a new parent. I feel this in my bones.

From the New York Post:

Dominique Dillon, a FOX13 Memphis anchor who recently took over the station's weekend broadcasts, appeared to briefly fall asleep on-air during a live newscast β€” sparking thousands of social media comments β€” many from viewers urging critics to cut the new mom some slack.

Footage that went viral on social media, which was first flagged by the industry blog FTVLive, appears to show Dillon with her eyes closed and her head resting in her hands as the camera lingered on her during a broadcast.

You can see footage of the hilarious incident here, where Dillon was revealed to be snoozing away as the camera transitioned back to the studio:

When you've got babies at home you got to catch that sleep wherever you can get it.

Older social media posts indicate Dominique has two small children at home, so you know she's probably missing out on a solid eight hours every night. Can't blame her for trying to catch a catnap!

Thankfully, Dillon's coworkers took it in stride β€” of course, they had to rib her for it:
