That's right, Minnesota Governor Tim "Tampon" Walz and his sanctuary state have decided that a man convicted of child rape deserves a second chance.

Tou Lue Vang, who came to America from Laos, was convicted back in 2006 of first-degree criminal sexual conduct against a 10-year-old girl. Repeatedly. He lost his legal status, got a final order of removal, and was set to be deported.
Justice, right?
Wrong!
Enter the Minnesota Clemency Review Commission β including Walz himself.

Vang was set to be removed from the United States before the pardon was announced. On June 10, 2026, the Minnesota Clemency Review Commission voted to grant Vang a pardon.
DHS says this decision could now prevent his removal from the country.

This is the same Minnesota that's been a shining beacon of sanctuary policies, soft-on-crime idiocy, and general incompetence under Walz's watch. They couldn't even handle basic riot control in 2020. Now they're handing out "get out of deportation free" cards to child sex offenders.
I guess in Tampon Tim's world, the real victims of crimes are the pedophile rapists who might be deported for raping 10-year-olds.
