Nebraska senior Jordy Frahm was hurling heaters for three months while pregnant and then led her team to the Women's College World Series tournament.

Did I mention she was USA Softball's Player of the Year?

What's more, Frahm had a no-hitter going into the sixth inning on Sunday against Texas, who would shortly put the Cornhuskers away with three runs. She also hit a solo homer, which ended up being Nebraska's lone score of the game (they lost 3-1). Texas went on to win the semis and is now in the final.

From SI:

On Sunday, May 31, Nebraska softball star Jordy Frahm played the last softball game of her collegiate career, when her Cornhuskers lost 3 - 1 to the reigning champion Texas Longhorns in an elimination game at the Women's College World Series.

Then, on Monday, she started a new chapter entirely.

In a joint Instagram post with her husband, former Nebraska baseball player Trey Frahm, Jordy revealed that she is expecting.

The caption for that post: "He has made everything beautiful in its time. Our greatest blessing is on the way. Baby Frahm coming December 2026."

Do some math there, and you could argue that Frahm was already pregnant for her first home start on March 5.

And I'm no woman, but the first trimester seems to be the worst as far as fatigue and sickness go. Good for Jordy for sticking to it and going on to become USA Softball's Player of the Year while going through all of that!

I'll leave you with Frahm's letter to softball via SI:

Dear softball, you came into my life when I was just eight years old, and somehow became so much more than a game. You awakened something in me: a competitive spirit and a fire to push myself further than I thought I could go. You taught me how to be strong, how to fight through failure, how to test myself mentally, physically, and emotionally. For 15 years, you have shaped me. And while this chapter may be ending, the person you helped shape will stay with me forever. I can't thank you enough.

I'm not crying - you're crying!!
