Two people were killed and others were injured when a car drove into a central pedestrian zone of the eastern German city of Leipzig, Mayor Burkhard Jung told journalists at the scene.
Police arrested the driver and said there was no further danger.
Yes, "a car drove into" a crowd of Germans.
Must be a Waymo or something, huh?

The driver who attacked fled the scene but was apprehended by police.
No motive has been released yet. We will update this story when we get a name, especially if it rhymes with "Yohammed."
