Meet Michael Rosario-Cruz, 27, who authorities say was cruising westbound in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 40 on Friday — presumably because traffic laws are a construct of systemic oppression or something.

He slammed head-on into a car full of kids aged 18 to 20, causing the vehicle to catch fire. All four kids — Kiercey Hickson (20), Quincy Jones (19), Haliegh Salazar (18), and Brad Palmer (18) — were killed.

From the New York Post:

Michael Rosario-Cruz, 27, was released from a hospital and booked into the Canadian County Jail on a slew of charges, including four counts of second-degree murder, two counts of DUI causing great bodily injury, transporting an open container, firearm possession, carrying firearms while under the influence, and driving the wrong way on a one-way road.

The victims were recent high school grads. The community held a vigil. GoFundMe pages are now set up for funeral costs.

We all know the drill by now — the quiet aftermath that never really makes national headlines quite like the latest sob story about "migrants being targeted by ICE" or whatever the liberal media wants to cover (just not this).

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol put it plainly: "Driving impaired is a reckless, life-changing decision."

Yeah, no kidding.

Too bad "entering the country illegally" isn't seen as an equally reckless act.
