I'm trying to figure out how I'd explain this to the Founding Fathers.

"See, we have this centralized federal police agency that rounds up a lot of terrorists but also sometimes arrests grandmas for opposing abortion, and this police agency is led by an Indian guy named Patel, and his country-music-star girlfriend has a really good voice, so she sang Francis Scott Key's words to kick off a presidential fair on the National Mall to celebrate our 250th anniversary as a country." 😂

Asked about her critics, Wilkins had this to say:

I get to sing the national anthem on the opening of our nation's 250th birthday, and that in and of itself, no matter the administration, should be really a universal honor.

I have only one question:

For real! You better wife her up before she takes that singing voice elsewhere!
