REMEMBER FREDDY?

Known only as "Freddy," this German guy went viral for sharing all the things he loves about America.

Working his way from Tennessee down to the bayous of Louisiana, and then to Houston, Freddy's posts picked up so much steam that he's getting free hotel rooms and gift packages from local businesses.

The city of Houston decided to go the extra step, inviting him to hang out with the police department and giving him a signed note from the mayor.

Then NASA decided to one-up them all:

Yeah, Freddy was invited to FaceTime with astronaut Jessica Meir onboard the ISS while getting a private tour of Mission Control at NASA's Johnson Space Center. ๐Ÿคฏ

Former NFL player JJ Watt found this funny (he had sent Freddy a gift basket too).

More:

I think Freddy is starting to understand what makes America so exceptional. Here, in the span of a week, you can go from random tourist to international celebrity.

After his tour of NASA, Freddy was able to get a tour of the Houston Dynamo soccer club, where he met one of his biggest soccer idols, Danish player Erik Sviatchenko.

He and his friends then ended their last night in Texas at a Texas Roadhouse restaurant, where they got another gift basket, of course!

Freddy is now headed to Oklahoma City.

You will be happy to know he has rated In-N-Out the "best burgers" on his trip so far.

From there, Freddy will travel across the Midwest to Toronto for another World Cup match.

I can't wait to hear what he thinks of Canada after experiencing America. ๐Ÿ˜‰
