The clash between Muslims and Jews got really feisty in Midwood, Brooklyn, last night.
The anti-Israel activists took a moment to pray to Allah before they marched through the majority-Jewish neighborhood to a local synagogue:
As you can imagine, things got, well, mostly peaceful.
Here are three more videos for you.
[Warning: Violence, Language]
My favorite part of this mess was when the pro-Palestinian Jews...
...confronted the Zionist Jews.
What a time to be alive.
Here's why this protest happened:
The Young Israel of Midwood Orthodox synagogue and the neighboring city-funded senior center run by the synagogue hosted an event on Monday, May 11 called the "Great Israeli Real Estate Event." This is a traveling real estate expo where real estate agents offer guidance and next steps for Jews who are interested in purchasing land in Israel.
HOWEVER, as you can imagine, some of these home sales are in areas labeled "Palestinian" on the maps for the last century, particularly in the West Bank.
Muslims and their woke allies say Israeli Jews are stealing this land, while Israeli Jews argue they are 1) following the law and 2) the land is their ancestral homeland.
Wokies have been protesting against these land sales for the last week across NYC, but you probably haven't heard about it because liberals/Muslims getting angry on the streets of New York is just par for the course now.
More from NY 1:
'We're here today to send a message to the city and to send a message to the organizers that these kinds of events cannot and will not stand in New York City,' Taher Dahleh, the organizer with the Palestinian Youth movement, said.
The event advertised homes in Israel with agents offering to guide buyers through the process.
Counterprotesters say the demonstrations are unfairly targeting a largely Jewish neighborhood.
'There's a synagogue here. This is clearly a [predominantly] Jewish neighborhood, and they deserve the right to worship in peace,' counterprotester Kasondra Watkins said.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a Muslim, recently vetoed a bill that would require protests to stay a certain distance away from houses of worship.
Let me show you one more video. This Muslim man, who is probably a U.S. citizen, yells at a Jewish man, also probably a U.S. citizen. After the Muslim says "Allah is great" with a threatening gesture, he says "remember Khaybar, referring to Mohammed's conquest of a Jewish town in Saudi Arabia 1400 years ago.
That's your update about the ancient land and ideology wars of the Middle East ... straight from New York City!
