The Trump administration is finally taking steps to make the American Dream available to, you know, Americans.
It's about dang time.

As reported by Politico:
Trump had previously stayed out of the cross-chamber dispute as the House and Senate went back and forth over two similar but rival housing packages. The White House endorsed the Senate housing bill as-is in March.
House lawmakers had sought to change the Senate bill's language that aimed to restrict large Wall Street investors from buying single-family homes. Trump had pushed for similar language to be included in any final housing legislation, but House members on both sides of the aisle said the Senate's version would disincentivize house construction.
At an increasing rate, large corporations have been buying up single-family homes, reducing residential real estate inventory and making home ownership more and more of a pipedream. Trump has made it a point to change that.
The president's demand was met with applause from Republicans on social media:
Here's hoping it gets passed and the prospect of owning a home doesn't continue to fade into antiquity.
Now if only Trump would do something about preventing foreign governments from buying up U.S. land.
