Alabama woman, Lorali Grace, didn't know she was pregnant when she went into labor in the early morning hours of April 13. After hours of worsening cramps, she called 911 and was waiting for first responders to arrive when she gave birth to a totally unexpected blessing, a healthy baby boy.

Yes, ANOTHER cryptic pregnancy.

Grace told Cullman Daily,

What I thought were normal cramps quickly became something much worse. Before I knew it, I was delivering a baby right there in my driveway.

The baby, named Josiah Lee, was born just a few moments before first responders arrived on the scene to evaluate mom and baby.

Then things got even crazier.

While they were en route to the hospital, the ambulance was rear-ended, causing it to overturn.

The new mom, presumably already in shock from delivering a baby she was not prepared for, described the scene, saying,

I was strapped into the gurney and ended up hanging sideways. They were searching for my baby after the crash — it was terrifying.

The mom suffered a few cuts and bruises and the baby was taken to the NICU, where he was evaluated for 12 hours before being released to stay with his mom. Despite the unexpected home birth in the family's driveway and the ambulance crash during his first few minutes of life, baby Josiah was declared totally healthy and uninjured.

His mom went on to say,

I keep thinking about everything that happened and how we made it through. I truly believe we were protected every step of the way.
