This is incredible, really.
Angelenos are still very upset about the Palisades Fire and the city's horrible response to the disaster (although if you believe the election results, it doesn't seem that way) and a new lawsuit is being filed against the city by one Kenneth Bass.
He's the biological brother of LA Mayor Karen Bass.

Kenneth and Cindy join 15 other local families from Malibu, Topanga, and the Palisades who are demanding damages for property loss and injury, and they're seeking a trial by jury.
They're suing Water and Power in LA, the Getty Trust, state parks, and a bunch of other entities they consider responsible for the fire.
And while you'd think Mr. Bass would make the perfect Spencer Pratt voter, family ties are just a little too strong. Kenneth Bass publicly supports his sister - the one responsible for the entire reasoning behind his lawsuit - and even donated to her campaign.

That sort of sums up the average LA and California liberal voter: 'Yes, I know you're a failure, I'm aware the city and the state are in decline, and I recognize that our streets are dangerous and you just let a major portion of the city burn down due to negligence.'
'But I'm gonna support you anyway.'
