If he had castrated himself and called himself a woman, he would have been celebrated.

Sadly, he had a different sexual fetish that isn't platformed by the government:

Buckle up, this is a wild one.

Dr Neil Hopper used dry ice to freeze his legs to the extent that they required amputation - then claimed he had developed sepsis following a family camping trip.

Last year, he pleaded guilty to two counts of fraud by false representation and three counts of possession of extreme pornographic images.

Hopper, who was a consultant vascular surgeon at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, had fraudulently claimed more than £466,000 in insurance payouts after the amputations.

I can't -- and won't -- even imagine the type of pornography possessed by this man that's considered "extreme" in Great Britain, where almost anything goes.

Hopper, an ironic name for someone who cut off both his legs, is basically in trouble for lying to insurance (taxpayer funded NHS) about why he had to do the surgery. After freezing his lower legs, he claimed they had become infected and had developed sepsis. Surgeons then amputated both of them above the ankle.

It was all part of a porn-fueled fetish.

[Hopper] was investigated for paying to access a website called EnuchMaker, which sold videos of amputations and body modification, including penises being removed.

The website, which has since been shut down, offered pay-to-view access to videos of Marius Gustavson carrying out extreme body modifications and mutilations on paying customers.

The level of depravity depicted on this website is quite literally the stuff of demonic nightmares. I will spare you the details, but let's just say castration and cannibalism are both involved.

Despite this, Hopper was featured on the British talk show This Morning, where the hosts invited him to talk about how hard it was to live life as an amputee.

Thankfully, Hopper won't be getting any interviews anytime soon.

Hopper has now been struck off the GMC (General Medical Council) register by a tribunal with immediate effect, meaning he is now banned from working as a surgeon.

In reaching its decision to strike off the former NHS surgeon, the panel found that Hopper 'poses a risk to patient safety', adding that the ban would 'maintain public confidence in the medical profession', The Sun reported.

The employment tribunal noted that the convict, who is still in prison, had 'made no substantive submissions objecting to the imposition of an immediate order'.

Hopper pled guilty to the fraud 8 months ago, and is now officially banned from practicing medicine.

But again, the irony and cognitive dissonance is thick.

Remember this the next time a politician argues that people need access to "gender-affirming care."
