Congrats, Minneapolis!

Your "progressive" city council just voted to lift a 38-year-old ban on bathhouses.

We reported that the city was considering a reversal on the ban back in April. It took them only three months to decide to move forward with the idea.

But why were they outlawed in the first place?

That's right, AIDS!

From the article above:

The council voted 9-2 at its meeting Thursday to approve two ordinances covering adult bathhouses and sex venues — one for licenses and business regulations and a separate measure regarding health and sanitation. Council Vice President Jamal Osman abstained from the votes and Council Member Jamison Whiting was absent.

They did this just ahead of Minneapolis Pride, because what better way to celebrate gays than with legalized bathhouses where all sorts of debauchery and disease will take place?

I look forward to Minneapolis receiving the inevitable "due penalties" discussed in Romans 1:25-28.

Monkeypox, anyone??
