You love to see this kind of sweet, youthful, married energy, and in the White House of all places:
Happy Anniversary to our lovely Second Lady. Twelve years and almost four kids later, and we're still going strong. Love you, Usha!
The vice president and his beautiful wife celebrating their anniversary and their big family is just about as wholesome and delightful as it gets!
But, naturally, this being the internet, a certain low-class subset couldn't resist piling on.
As you'll note, Vance expressed love for his wife and "almost four kids." Both JD and Usha announced in January that they were expecting their fourth baby (which made the Left mad at that time, too).
Apparently, the extremely common and uncontroversial linguistic convention of "almost four kids" was once again too much for pro-choicers to handle:
People.

I can't believe it's necessary to explain this in the Year of Our Lord 2026, but it's perfectly fine and not in the least "pro-choice" to refer to your child as "almost" born.
That's obviously what Vance is doing here. He is implicitly saying, "Almost four kids born." This is pretty much how every parent in the world talks. It's a recognition that birth is a momentous and consequential part of a child's life (and a parent's!).
It is not some sort of tacit acknowledgment that the unborn child is, um, somehow not alive.
This is not in the least bit controversial. Everybody talks this way and nobody cares. Indeed, the only time people don't talk this way is when pro-abortionists want to make a ghoulish point about killing babies. The rest of us normal, healthy people are not fooled, however!
Anyway, I'll leave you with this, the proper way to wish the vice president and second lady a happy anniversary:
