Yes, Brittney Griner has filed for divorce from her wife, Cherelle. A marriage that survived a Russian penal colony couldn't survive normal, everyday lesbian stuff.

Cherelle, an attorney, was all over the television back in 2022 trying to get Brittney home after her weed-pen incident over in Moscow. Her persistence led to a phone call with President Biden, then to meetings with senior White House officials. Rolling Stone covered how Cherelle was instrumental in getting Griner freed.
The Biden admin decided to trade her, a female basketball player, for one of the world's most notorious arms dealers. So ... yeah.

The couple has one son, presumably Cherelle's (no idea who the dad is, unless you believe the theories that Brittany is, well, you know!).
But this isn't Brittney's first time around the block.
She was once married to WNBA player Glory Johnson — which sounds like the name of someone with, well, never mind — for a whopping 28 days.
That union produced twin daughters — again, probably Glory's daughters, because that is how biology works. Brittney was stuck footing the child-support bill.
Anyway, I sure hope betting everything on this lesbian marriage was worth letting the "MERCHANT OF DEATH" loose again!
