Let's just phone in everyone on the planet to decide local American elections?

Moderator: 'This is a yes or no answer ... noncitizens, should they be allowed to vote in local elections. Is this a yes or a no? Mr. Pratt?'

Spencer Pratt: 'No.'

LA Mayor Karen Bass: 'It depends. It's no a yes or a no.'

Moderator: 'Depends on what?'

Bass: 'Well first of all, when you say noncitizens, it doesn't mean they're here illegally. It doesn't mean they're undocumented. They could have green cards. They could be here perfectly legal, and there's a lot of states and cities that too that on very, very local elections...'

Okay, so if I get a work visa to Paris, Tokyo, or Berlin, I should be able to vote in their elections too, right? I should get a say in how the biggest cities in France, Japan, and Germany operate, yes?

If not, why does it only work one way?

Moderator: 'Council Member Raman?'

Nithya Raman: 'Yes, I'd say it does depend. In other places, school boards have non-citizens who vote for, who vote for these - '

Pratt: 'It was a yes or no question.'

The funniest part of this clown show is that it won't stop at local elections and we all know it.

Spencer Pratt, the Republican candidate, lives in a trailer because his home burned down in the Palisades fire two years ago and Mayor Bass has made the rebuilding process unbelievably slow.
