The two were asked about conspiracy theories:

Burr: What advantage to the people in power have, if it's actually flat, I'm thinking it's round. Like, what does it get them?
Shaq: I dunno ... I just said I fly a lot ... One time I took a 25-hour flight, and the plane never did this [motions down] ... when I was going to another country, the plane never did that.

It boggles the mind how some people cannot understand that we live on a giant ball, and since gravity is a thing, you are constantly pulled down toward the very center of that ball.
When you fly a plane, the horizon appears straight because you are still close to the ball. You don't appear to fly up or down because the ball is constantly pulling you toward it. The pilots burn jet fuel to keep the plane at a constant altitude, defying the ball's wishes to give you a warm, snuggly hug.
A FIVE-YEAR-OLD CAN UNDERSTAND HOW TETHERED OBJECTS GO IN A CIRCLE, FOLKS.
Shaq: I'm just sayin' that's all. Just think about it ... I was looking at a map one time when I was flying. And I was here and I flew to here. And I stayed up the whole time looking out the window, just to make sure.
Burr then tried to explain VORs (VHF Omni Directional Range Radio) and how altitude and the curvature of the Earth affects radio signals. 😭
