The public train system in Atlanta, MARTA, recently came under federal investigation after high profile violent crimes on the trains made headlines.

In 2025, MARTA slashed the budget for security and cut back on police or security presence on the trains. They just had to make some tough choices, don't you know.

But you want to know what they DIDN'T cut?

Watch this:

Yeah, they fired 35 security officers, including cutting 10 positions that were actual police presence on the train, while rebranding and fully funding MARTA's DEI office.

$1.5 million well spent.

(I'm sure glad Freddy made it off MARTA okay)

This isn't a glitch in the system, this is the system.

Perfectly stated.

Appropriately, these missions go hand-in-hand. We're regularly reminded that more police and more crime enforcement means less diversity.

So, mission accomplished, I guess.

Some reactions:

If you're attending the World Cup in Atlanta, I don't know, rent a car or take an Uber or something.
