Chat, Tucker is COOKED.

I've appreciated Tucker greatly over the years. The man is a veteran TV host who had hard-hitting commentary on politics and culture. I've largely stayed out of this whole poo-flinging war that's happening among the Right.
But YEESH.
The people in charge don't want you to know this, but Muslims love Jesus. Islam reveres Him as a major prophet and messenger of the Lord, believes He performed miracles, and states that He will return to Earth to defeat the Antichrist.
This is something my Muslim friends would often say to me when I was in college, and it sounds nice. It doesn't survive five seconds of critical thought, but if you are ignorant of both the Quran and the Bible (as many Muslims AND Christians are) then it sounds like a wonderful, unifying message.
But the Jesus (Issa) of Islam is a totally different person, as different as a pacifist hippie George Washington in a pink tutu would be from the real George Washington.

In the Bible, the Israelites and surrounding nations worshipped "El" or "Baal," but these words simply meant "God" or "Master/Lord," in the same ways we use the words God and Lord.
The term "El" came to refer to the chief creator god who served as father to the rest of the gods. He was often depicted as a bull and his wife was named Asherah. Baal was the "lord" of storms and war.

God kept telling the Israelites that He wasn't the same as the "God" and "Lord" of the surrounding nations, but they ignored him. They came to believe "God" and "Lord" meant whatever they fancied and used the term for all sorts of deities in the same way Hindus use the term "lord" for their many gods today (including Jesus).
Even Christians do this. It's why churches, just like the ancient Israelites, tolerate all sorts of gods in the name of "pluralism" while morphing God into a self-help guru.

But Islam is next-level. Islam changes the entire nature of God, denies that Jesus Himself is God, and declares the central beliefs of the Christian faith to be heresy.
'O People of the Book! Do not go to extremes regarding your faith; say nothing about Allah except the truth. The Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was no more than a messenger of Allah... So believe in Allah and His messengers and do not say, 'Trinity.' Stop! — for your own good. Allah is only One God. Glory be to Him! He is far above having a son!' - Quran 4:171
'Christ the son of Mary was no more than a messenger; many were the messengers that passed away before him.' - Quran 5:75
Allah and the God of Abraham, Moses, and Jesus are totally different, as incompatible as oil and water, which means Muslims love a made-up Jesus - a Jesus out of line with historical documents, biblical manuscripts, eyewitness testimony, the continuity and theology of the Old Testament, and the messianic prophecies going back to Genesis 3:15.
The made-up Jesus of Islam is no Jesus at all ... and there are eternal consequences for believing in made-up versions of Jesus.
If you are a Christian and you love Muslims, you will tell them that.
So when the president of Iran condemns Trump for slandering Jesus...

...I have to point out that neither the president of Iran, nor Trump, nor Tucker Carlson seem to have any idea who the real Jesus is.
"Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'
