In an update, Connor said his wife was finally seen at the hospital after SEVEN HOURS. She had a blood clot in her leg, but it was not determined if it was deep vein thrombosis (DVT), which would be more life-threatening.
So they sent her home.
Again, this is a pregnant woman experiencing preeclampsia, a serious condition that leads to high blood pressure, protein in urine, and blood clots. It is not to be taken lightly.
All she needed was a simple scan to confirm if urgent medical intervention was necessary. The system took hours to help her, and when it did, used foreigners who don't speak English to "help."

Again, this is a sick pregnant woman. A civilized, First World medical system should be able to get her prompt emergency care, because if we can't protect pregnant moms and their infants at minimum, then our systems are useless.
After hours and hours in the hospital for a second time, the exhausted couple were finally sent home with some simple shots to help the inflammation and clotting, along with an appointment for an ultrasound to find the clot.
Many other Brits said they had experienced the same incompetence and hostility from foreign staff that can't even communicate with patients.
