The WNBA held some serious talks this week to determine what the "W" in WNBA stands for as the entire transgender discussion has taken over the league, as we reported a few days ago.
But it looks like the league had more Ketanji Brown Jacksons than Matt Walshes on their "What Is A Woman" task force, because they somehow were unable to come to any conclusions.
Round one of talks is over, and the WNBA still isn't sure if the "W" means anything.

The conspiracies are beginning, and they aren't about whether or not Royce White and Enes Kanter Freedom will be allowed to play.
Brittney Griner, and others in the WNBA, have often been the subject of conspiracies regarding their gender. This seems to throw fuel on that fire.

The league's statement Wednesday, in full, reads:
'Today's meeting covered a wide range of topics, including ongoing discussions on transgender athletes and the continued hate and vitriol directed at players online. We will continue to engage all league stakeholders in the coming weeks and months. We will approach these important conversations thoughtfully and in alignment with the values of our league. There are no immediate eligibility matters affecting the WNBA and we strongly denounce the bad-faith efforts to use these topics to demean or marginalize others.'
