Yes, that drunk Polish farmer just parked his hay trailer right there on the railroad tracks. And yes, a passenger train carrying around 500 people just vaporized those bales.
One passenger said, "I was sitting in the first carriage, and the impact was felt strongly."
Yeah, your train just blasted a hay trailer!
Fortunately β and I don't know how β nobody was injured here. The train driver is said to have been roughed up a bit though. The train kept a-rollin' on down to ... well, wherever it was going.
Needless to say, the farmer is said to have ignored signals on the road.
Polish State Railways had this to say, via The Sun:
A railroad crossing is no place for recklessness. Stop, look around. Strictly follow the regulations, and pay attention to signs and signals.
