Right place, right time.

Never has anyone been so happy to see two dudes toolin' around in their UTV.

The names of these heroes are Adam Sandbeck and Mike Gravalin. They were exploring the trails when they decided to take an unplanned shortcut.

More on the wild story from The Minnesota Star Tribune:

They were 30 miles east of their RV park and running low on gas, so they found a shortcut on a minimum maintenance road. Then they turned onto an unmarked trail full of potholes. After navigating rough terrain muddied by overnight rain, they rounded a corner and came upon a stuck minivan.

Gravalin is a retired deputy U.S. marshal and was immediately on alert.

How did a minivan make it out there? Was someone hiding in the van or woods, waiting to ambush them?

But the "stuck minivan" wasn't the only thing they found.

As they approached the vehicle, they saw a body lying in a puddle.

Walking closer, they could only see a woman's hand and parts of her face above the surface of the muddy water.

Then they heard her whisper: 'Help me.'

The two men found a woman who had sunk into the mud, almost out of view.

They didn't know it was Kathryn Woessner, 68, of Alexandria, who had been missing for three days.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office had sent an endangered missing person alert, saying Woessner had a medical condition that raised concerns about her safety.

She was last seen June 3 in Hubbard County, about 6 miles away from where she got stuck near Backus in rural Cass County.

Woessner got out of her stuck vehicle only to get stuck herself in two-feet-deep mud that was "like quicksand."

She ended up almost completely submerged in the muck, where she remained for three days.

Woessner was severely dehydrated and badly sunburned when she was finally rescued, but is now in stable condition.

Here's some video:

No word yet on why Woessner was out in the deep woods with her minivan.

If you're out and about in Minnesota this summer…

…watch out for the quicksand.
