Well, the people of Kentucky have spoken and the good people of the Commonwealth are sending new representation to Congress.

Thomas Massie, the libertarian Republican, lost his campaign after a lot of money and effort from the MAGA wing of the party, and a very strong push from the Trump administration and The Donald himself, to oust him from Congress.

Some of you will love this development, and some will hate it, but this further solidifies Trump's control over the GOP. Indiana Republicans who didn't redistrict were replaced by voters. Bill Cassidy who voted to impeach and convict Trump, out. And now, Massie.

In the days leading up to the election, Massie made it clear that he wanted to make his election a referendum on Israel, branding himself as the America First candidate not beholden to foreign money.

Massie made a sarcastic comment to this effect during his concession speech.

It took a while to find Ed Gallrein in Tel Aviv ... We've been honorable the whole time and we're going to stay that way.

Anyway…

The MAGA wagons have already circled to cast Massie out.

As George Washington said, political parties have "baneful effects," but such tribalism is "inseparable from our nature, having its root in the strongest passions of the human mind."
