When you're a goat farmer in British Columbia, you are almost guaranteed to encounter hungry cougars that want to eat your goats.
Moore says she acted on pure instinct, knowing the cougar could have turned on her at any moment.
These could have been the final breaths of Gina's Nigerian dwarf goat, but there she was, just in time for the World Cup, with the soccer kick of a lifetime!
Here's Gina via Fox 6:
I honestly was just running on adrenaline ... I knew there was a chance that the cougar would turn on me so I'd better make whatever I did count.
The cougar had many animals to choose from on this day. Moore's farm is home to cows and geese as well, so there were plenty of items on the menu.
Regardless, the cougar was soccer-kicked into next week, and hopefully will not be back anytime soon.
