I'm not sure what kind of response this fellow imagined he would get, but boy, he got one:
Me watching as this dude lays out his budget for a "modest" birthday party:
I've been to a few budget birthday parties in my time and I don't recall them dropping $200 on cake and $200 on sodas!
I think this fellow just may have a different idea from most of us of what constitutes a "budget," both in relative and absolute terms.
That goes doubly when you consider that he was throwing a birthday party for a one-year-old. If you've ever been around a one-year-old, you'll know that they don't really know what's going on and don't need a $1,100 budget for a birthday party.
Folks were kind enough to helpfully point out the obvious to this fellow (of course, he's already spent the money, so this is just advice for next year):
Man, I hope this guy was trolling with this budget!
