Well, I guess technically, raising the flag of a foreign country in your city is, in fact, telling us you're conquered.
Columbus, Ohio, is apparently trying to outdo Little Mogadishu (Minneapolis) with their Somali pride.

I could see Columbus raising an Italian flag over the city named for Christopher Columbus, a great honorary American ... but this?
