People thought this was real.
Turns out, NPR just ran with the fake story a little too quickly and then had to retract it a bit later.
All eyes have been on the Supreme Court today.
And NPR absolutely biffed it with this false report (published in error) that Justice Samuel Alito had retired from the Court after the Supreme Court's final opinions of the term.
FYI, the NPR article had Alito retiring on Friday in the article. Not sure what that's about.
