Laotian man Tou Lue Vang was convicted back in 2006 of repeatedly raping a 10-year-old girl. Repeatedly. He lost his legal status, got a final order of removal, and was set to be deported.
But he never was deported (because of course). Instead, he lived in Minnesota for 20 years. When the Trump admin found out, Tim Walz quickly moved to pardon the pedo in an attempt to keep him in the country.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio deported him anyway.

In true Minnesota fashion, the state's largest newspaper is now praising Tim Walz for his fine treatment of an illegal alien child rapist.

I'm just gonna keep saying illegal alien child rapist, because it's pretty important for the context here.

They actually wrote "Cheers to Gov. Tim Walz" and then noted how he pardoned an illegal alien child rapist.
And they actually compared raping a child to storming the Capitol on J6 as if those are two things that are equally bad.
America, at what point do we wall off Minnesota and let them reap all the consequences of what they have sowed?

Boy, I sure hope this is some sort of elaborate troll, and the author, Rochelle Olson, is a secret Republican who snuck this into the column to be hilarious.
