Good day, fellow Bees!
A great story here concerning millions of our peers who were recently set free in Texas 👇

A semitrailer hauling around 400 hives - that's an estimated two million honeybees - tipped over in Orange County, Texas, on Sunday morning. The driver apparently missed a turn in Mauriceville, and suddenly the rural neighborhood was a-buzzin'.
Orange County Emergency Services quickly put out this message:
Everyone who lives in the affected area please remain indoors. An 18-wheeler carrying beehives has turned over, and there is a heavy presence of bees in the area.
Bro, if I got that message, I'd totally think it was a joke!
But it was real.
Here's Queen Bee Supply, a local beekeeping business that helped out with the bees, on Facebook:
That's a lot of bees!
Things got pretty intense.
We're talking about 50,000 pounds of angry pollinators liberated. Beekeepers in full suits rushed in like it was D-Day to try and round them up.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
The bees were reportedly headed to North Dakota, but most of them won't make it. I suppose it'll be East Texas honey for them!
Happy National Pollinator Week, everyone!
